Grupo Argraf organizes these creativity workshops focused on the wine label and packaging design sector to highlight all the work required for the completion of a finished product and the agents involved in that process, as well as to reward agencies and designers for their talent and effort in creating WITHOUT ANY LIMIT the design that is later printed in the workshops of a company with more than 80 years of experience in the world of graphic arts.

“No Limits to Your Creativity” is a landmark event for professionals and students of design. A must-attend meeting that promotes collaboration, the union of creative minds seeking a chain of ideas to achieve “making the impossible possible”.

This meeting brought together prominent design professionals on November 17 and 18 in the heart of Penedès. Grupo Argraf held its fourth “No Limits to Your Creativity” event. An event that gathered leading design professionals from the current scene, who were able to exchange experiences and knowledge, as well as learn firsthand about new trends in labels, stationery, and capsules, thanks to the collaboration of this edition’s partner companies, Rivercap, Avery Dennison, and Comercial Arqué. The “No Limits to Your Creativity” meeting left La Rioja for the first time to be held in Catalonia. A clear statement of intent by the Riojan company that recently acquired Redgraf, Realizaciones y Diseño Gráfico S.A., a company based in the Barcelona town of Rubí specialized in the manufacture of glue-applied and self-adhesive labels for the cava sector. This move strengthens Grupo Argraf’s presence in this important wine and cava area, where it was already working, reinforcing the relationship with clients in this area, in addition to opening a new line of business: the manufacture of capsules for cava.

The CEO of Grupo Argraf, Alberto Torroba, highlighted that the “No Limits to Your Creativity” event “has been a space to learn and share”. He emphasized the success of moving this year’s meeting to Catalonia, specifically to the heart of Penedès, “a majestic setting with special significance for us, given the acquisition of Redgraf”.

Grupo Argraf aimed to bring its company closer to design professionals from different parts of Spain with the goal of establishing future synergies. Not surprisingly, Grupo Argraf has positioned itself as a leader and benchmark in the high-value label sector.

It was two intense days, framed in Bodegas Codorníu and Bodegas Freixenet, where designers, in addition to enjoying the activities organized by Grupo Argraf, attended a talk by the creative director of YOUMEDIA, Ecequiel Barricart, in which he addressed important aspects such as creativity, the metaverse, or being digital. He also participated in a cava tasting led by Master of Wine Jonas Tofterup. Of Danish origin, he is one of the seven Masters of Wine residing in Spain.

Furthermore, the meeting served to introduce the new manager of Redgraf, Miguel Torroba, who takes on the important mission of consolidating the company and growing it in this highly competitive sector.

The third “No Limits to Your Creativity” event took place on October 6th and 7th in La Rioja, featuring prominent figures from the wine design industry. Over two days, guests engaged in presentations, lectures, and wine tastings, and had time to exchange experiences and knowledge with the aim of finding new avenues for development and ideas for their future designs.

October 6-7, 2021 – LA RIOJA

Grupo Argraf, a leader in label printing, held the third meeting of designers specializing in the world of wine “No Limits to Your Creativity” at the beginning of October. This edition, even more special if possible as it was the first held after the outbreak of the pandemic, has highlighted everyone’s desire to share experiences again and has consolidated this event as a reference for design professionals. An unmissable meeting that fosters collaboration and the union of creative minds.

The sessions brought together about thirty participants, including professional designers and heads of design schools, who were able to visit different settings related to the wine world, in order to foster their imagination and achieve a fusion of art and knowledge of the environment along with their work and experience.

During the first day, held at Finca El Juncal, attendees could listen to Sandra Costa -BDM Spain & Portugal from Fedrigoni Self-Adhesive, a collaborating company and one of the main manufacturers of premium self-adhesive papers worldwide.

In her presentation, Costa introduced the new Neck label papers in addition to the new recycled ones, part of an extensive range of products within the framework of sustainability, a goal of the Fedrigoni group.

After this intervention, the writer and speaker Andrés Pascual, an expert in change management, offered those present a lecture on how to flow and show our best version in the chaotic and changing world we live in. Pascual began by explaining how our brain works and provided keys to challenge it and walk towards personal and professional success, even when external circumstances are complex.

The second day took place at the prestigious Bodegas Muga, in Haro, where participants, in addition to visiting and learning about these facilities up close, could listen to the presentation of Cristian Sillero, Foil unit Manager, from Comercial Arqué, a collaborating company and leader in the supply of hot and cold stamping. In his speech, Sillero offered an interesting technical talk about the possibilities offered by mechanized engravings for stamping or relief and also explained how to identify the different effects in designs.

The guests also had the privilege of participating in a conference and wine tasting with Master of Wine Pedro Ballesteros, being able to verify the expectations that consumers have about a wine based on its image.

After the break caused by the pandemic, the celebration of this event has made more sense than ever, making it clear that creativity neither has nor should have limits. We all look forward to returning to a new “normality”, more measured, more authentic, a different situation in which we are stronger and more united than ever.
